Nespresso creates the same flavors for each line of machines.
Brew sizes: European style espresso and coffee drinks range from 1.35-ounce single shot to 5-ounce lingo brews. You can also create a double shot 2.7-ounce drink with both capsule sizes. If you prefer American style 8-ounce cups or 14-ounce brews for travel mugs, choose a Vertuoline machine.
Water reservoir: The larger the Nespresso machine’s water reservoir, the more cups can be brewed without refilling. The larger machines take up more counter space, however.
Milk frothers: Some of the higher-end original line Nespresso machines have integrated milk frothers. Lower-cost Nespresso original-line and all current Vertuoline machines need external frothers. Breville and De’Longhi both sell Nespresso machines bundled with separate Aeroccino milk frothers.
Space: Original-line Nespresso machines with integrated frothers and both types of machines with large water reservoirs take up a good deal of counter space. Most machines have the water reservoir in the rear, which reduces width, but some have the tank on the side. Smaller original line machines such as the Pixie and the Essenza Mini machines take up the least space.
Budget: Nespresso’s original line machine list prices range from $150 to $600. Vertuo line list prices start at $160 and go up to $300. Deals are common for both lines, and you can often find all but the most expensive models for less than $200.

Battery operation with return-to-charge: Robot vacuums don’t use cables. The running time per charge varies, but most robot vacs can run at least 60 minutes before needing a charge. Most also automatically return to their charging station for recharging, which can take two to four hours. If your floors require maximum suction power most or all of the time, battery operation time will be lower.
Internal dust bin with filter(s): Robot vacuums pack the dirt and debris tightly into an internal dustbin. A few high-end models self-empty the dustbin into a larger bin at the charging station, but in most cases, you’ll need to empty it yourself — typically a fast and easy process.
Obstacle detection: A robot vacuum that doesn’t have sensors to detect obstacles will continue to bash itself. Virtually all robot vacuums today either sense obstacles ahead of time and shift course or have articulated bumpers and will change direction when they tap a wall, cabinet, or furniture. Many robot vacs also detect drops, so they don’t fall down stairs or off landings.
App control: Most robot vacuum manufacturers provide a mobile app or a Wi-Fi app you can use to start, stop, pause, or send the robot vacuum to the base station. Smartphone apps typically can manage the robot vacuum remotely.
Scheduling: You can set up a calendar for your robot vacuum, ranging from days and start time to separate schedules for different rooms or areas.

Differentiating factors and features for robot vacuums:

Battery life per charge: If 60 minutes of vacuuming is the minimum acceptable running time per charge, 90 to 110 minutes is more common. The robot vacuum doesn’t stop for breaks or phone calls, so even 30 minutes of vacuuming can accomplish a lot.
Cleaning modes: In addition to just starting and stopping, many robot vacuums add one room cleaning, spot cleaning, and more.

Charge and resume: Most robot vacuums go back to their docking station to charge when they need it. More advanced models continue cleaning once they recharge. The fanciest models return and pick up where they left off according to stored room maps.
Wet mopping: A minority of robot vacuums also have a damp mop feature.
Self-emptying dustbins: Emptying the dustbin from a robot vac isn’t that big a deal, but just like throwing water off the side of a boat, don’t empty the container into the wind. A very few models have self-emptying features that use a suction motor in the docking station to pull the debris from the vacuum’s internal bin and store the dirt, dust, and debris in a much larger bin in the docking station. Eventually, a human has to empty the larger container, but this feature allows people to let the vacuum clean unattended for extended periods.

Apple changed up the game a bit with this year’s flagship releases, rolling out a total of four new devices: The iPhone 12, the pocket-sized iPhone Mini, the premium iPhone 12 Pro, and the beefy iPhone Pro Max. This release strategy marks the first time that Apple fans have four new iPhones to choose from and likely comes in response to users clamoring for cheaper and smaller phones in a market where flagships regularly launch with $1,000-plus price tags. All four devices run on Apple’s new A14 Bionic chip, the primary differences between each model being available storage, RAM, and camera modules.
The iPhone 12 is the standard flagship of the family and heir to the iPhone 11 and iPhone 8. It retails for $799 (although you can get it for much cheaper if you take advantage of ongoing iPhone 12 deals like those above) and offers excellent all-around hardware performance, a very nice dual-lens camera, 5G connectivity, and a great battery life. How to choose a generator
When you shop for a portable generator during an emergency you lose out on more than just a chance for a good deal on a cheap generator. There are many types, sizes, and optimal applications for generators and if you shop when the power is threatened or has already failed, you may have to take what you can find, which might not be the best choice for your needs. Assuming you’ll have the time to shop for the right type of generator deals, keep the following factors in mind.

Your primary need – Are you shopping for a portable generator for tailgate parties and camping? If that’s the case you can likely get away with a relatively small, light, and inexpensive portable power station. If you want more power for additional electrical devices and appliances, to power tools on a worksite, or to hook up to an RV, a smaller gasoline or propane-fueled generator may be enough to do the trick. If what you really need is a generator for a backup power supply to operate essential appliances and lights for your home, look for a larger portable generator with a running power rating of 7,000 watts or more. Portable generators with 20,000 watts and up can supply sufficient power for a small home, but at that size, portability is relatively limited. For long-term whole-home energy backup, the best current solution is a whole home generator, preferably connected to a natural gas fuel supply from your street. Whole-home generators, however, cost on average from $10,000 to $30,000 including installation, and are beyond the scope of this post.
How much capacity do you really need? – The trick in selecting a portable generator with the right capacity is buying enough but not too much. One way to estimate capacity is to add up the power draws of everything you would likely want to operate at the same time and then add 20% to 50% to allow for peak power demand when devices start up and to have enough power to hook up an additional device or two. Buying twice as much power capacity as you need is fine, but be prepared to sacrifice portability and to pay more for the generator and for the fuel to run it.
Fuel type – Smaller power stations based on Lithium-ion or lead-acid batteries are limited to short-term applications. Some day home power storage batteries connected to solar or wind power sources may be common, but today most home generators are the rule, and most portable units run on gasoline or propane. Dual fuel units add convenience, but in either case, it’s necessary to have the fuel on hand. A gas or propane-powered generator won’t do you much good if you have to go out to buy fuel when gas stations and propane suppliers are closed.
Generator or inverter generator – In general, generators are cheaper and louder than inverters, but most generators also run at full power. A generator running at full capacity speed uses more fuel than an inverter that adjusts to the demand. Because they don’t run as much or as loudly, inverters may run for a longer time on the same amount of fuel, and inverter noise can be less of a bother to neighbors and you than regular generators. Inverter generators cost more than regular generators, though.
Portability – The smallest power stations, generators, and inverter generators typically have handles so you can pick them up to carry or move them. Larger portable generators often have two or four wheels and a handle to push or pull them. If you buy a large portable generator, substantial wheels and tires make a difference.
Connections – Different classes of generators or backup power supplies have varied connectors and connection requirements. A portable power station may have one or two 120V plugs for small appliances and lights and USB ports for recharging devices. Generators for RVs typically have a covered 30 or 50 amp RV port that connects with a special cable to a matching port found on most RVs. If you’re going to use a generator for home backup power there are several choices ranging in complexity, convenience, capacity, and cost. Connecting directly to appliances from a home generator using cables is certainly possible but limiting and potentially dangerous due to potential cable fires. Transfer boxes, interlocks, and generlinks are better alternatives for generator-to-home electrical power connections, but they are subject to local building codes and require installation by a licensed electrician. Those connections are beyond the scope of this article, but if you are shopping for a substantial generator for home power backup, it’s an excellent idea to speak to an electrician first to learn about local connection alternatives and installation costs.
Cost – The more power you need the more money you’ll have to spend. While that statement is accurate, it’s not the whole story because safety and convenience factors can also affect price (see mentions above of inverters and home connections). When you’re searching for the best cheap generator deals, the best way to save is to analyze your needs before you shop so you look for the right generator type and capacity for your needs.

The Galaxy S20 represents the 11th iteration of Samsung’s flagship phone line. Samsung broke with previous naming conventions for this new release, with the S20 moniker referring to the year 2020 rather than the generation. It’s the smallest of the S20 flagships (although it’s not exactly tiny with its 6.2-inch touchscreen), and it boasts a gorgeous 120Hz display, an excellent camera module, and — perhaps most importantly — 5G network connectivity.
The standard Galaxy S20 was our least favorite of Samsung’s new flagships, but it’s still a solid phone (as you’d expect from the biggest name in the Android mobile space). It’s also the most affordable and smallest device in the S20 stable, so if size and/or price has ruled out the S20+ and S20 Ultra, then finding a good Samsung Galaxy S20 deal is the obvious path you should take — or consider the S20 FE if you want something even cheaper.
Samsung Galaxy S20+

Keeping with tradition, Samsung released a plus-sized version of its 2020 flagship in the 6.7-inch Galaxy S20+. It’s only a half-inch larger than the Galaxy S20, but the S20+ offers more than just extra screen real estate: Our review team found that the bigger device looked better, ran longer, and took better pictures than the standard S20, making it our favorite entry in the 11th-generation Samsung flagship stable when it comes to price versus performance.
In short: If you don’t mind the modern trend toward bigger phones, then the Galaxy S20+ is a clear upgrade over the standard Galaxy S20 in most respects. Better still, the up-sized Galaxy S20 isn’t that much more expensive than its smaller sibling, and since these devices often go on sale together, the ready availability of Galaxy S20+ deals makes our top pick even more attractive.

Phone makers typically release two flagships annually — a standard device along with a larger model — and in recent years, brands like Apple and Google have also offered cheaper midrange phones as alternatives to their pricier flagships. Samsung bucked this trend in 2020 by releasing an even more premium flagship in the Galaxy S20 Ultra, which offers some enhancements over the S20 and S20 Plus (already high-end phones in their own right). Namely, the Galaxy S20 Ultra features a larger 6.9-inch display, the beefiest hardware you’re likely to find on a modern smartphone, a superb camera module, and industry-leading battery life.
Of the three flagships, our recommendation for most people looking for an upgrade over the standard Galaxy S20 is still to jump on any Galaxy S20+ deals they come across. That said, if you want the biggest and most bleeding-edge Samsung smartphone (and are willing to pay for it), the S20 Ultra’s extra juice is worth the squeeze — just be sure to take advantage of any Galaxy S20 Ultra deals you find, as these more expensive devices are often where you’ll score biggest savings.
